I had to strip down my site (no problem, was for a game i dont play anymore) It is just a directory now. I uploaded the html and swf files that I generated in flash. I click on them and nothing seems to happen. Any help for the flash challenged will be greatly appreciated.

My site (whats left of it) http://home.adelphia.net/~covenant

So, you have published a swf and an html doc. Then you should have the bare bones minimum to have something online. Have you tested them on your system? I am at work now and this crappy thing is WinNT. I don't have the authorization for flash stuff. So I will check out your site this evening, but I'm in Paris so there is a delay...anyway, you should be cool with what you have. If the swf isn't in the same dir as the html doc, you musthave the correct path for the html doc to embed the swf. Perhaps this is the prob?

any help with this would be appreciated ...when I click on my link it just stalls in the midddle and never plays.

Do I have to have this embedded somewhere? all I did was strip down my site to a directory and uploaded to swf and html files whole. Mommy

it is embedded in an html doc, n'est pas? If so, then The fact that you "stripped down" your space might have something to do with the prob...you say all you've got there now is .swf's and .html docs?

Yes, The html and swf are located on the directory page of my space. I wanted to see if they would work. If they did i was gonna rebuild the site.

The only thing I can think of at this point is perhaps you don't have an 'index.html' for the site...and this prevents access in som estrange way????

Don't know...should work. I can see that they are both in the sam e dir...If you say it's embedded...

Send me the html doc and the swf, I'll take a look, but I can't promise anything!!...zip it!
