Menu >> Sliding >> How?

I tried to do the sliding menu that was posted by: ganesha 07-12-2001 04:20 PM and answered by: benjiemoss 07-15-2001 04:15 AM

But I found a better sliding menu located at: http://www.mapleleafs.com/home.html

It seems like the menu found above uses onClipEvent()

I was wondering how to make a menu like that and if anyone could do a walk through demonstation or has an FLA they could send me that acts similar as the one in the URL above?

I might be oversimplifying it, but after studying that menu for some time (basically moving my mouse over it over and over again--it is slic), I think all it is are MCs that are laid out on the stage with their visibility turned off.

When you bring your mouse to one button, visibility is turned on for selected item MC and it plays (spilling out the multiple buttons from side to side). When you go to another, turn the visibility off on that MC, and play the other one the same way, and so on....

Of course, it's a little more complicated than that, but the coding is relatively simple.
