After Effect export to Flash MX 2004

i was wondering if anyone knew a solution to my problem.

i've created a composition in Adobe After Effects, and used the export option to make it into a swf. Then, I imported it to my Flash, but when i try to play it, it doesn't play. Anyone know what im doing wrong?

hmmm.... export the swf file to your desktop... then dble click to see if it actually works.... if it doesnt then you need to tweak the way that you are exporting from AE

and dont forget to pre-compose your layers...

i took your advice and tried to see if the swf runs before i import it. :p and it doesn't :(

so i need to tweak my export settings in AE?

When you preview it in AE, does it work? From what I can see in your timeline window (which is partially covered up) theres nothing there at the time selected.

and, of course, having stuff in the composition helps too... ;-)
