i use progress bar + loader in my flash to load external swf, and i tested allright on my computer. However, once i upload to server, it just doesn't work properly. I am 100% sure there is no problem with my code, and i know i am not the only person facing with this problem. I am just asking that whether u guys have any other methods to round it or make the same effect(to Pbar + Loader). Any help will be appreciated. Thanks very much!

I ones used this way on a flash-site I made, and it worked out OK for me. Are you sure you've got the external swf on the URL you set in the original swf??

yeah i am sure, and i saw other person post this kind of question 2 in other forum, but those questions still havent got a sound replay, now i am facing with this when i upload my website to IDE. The external swf can be loaded ino main swf. but the progress bar always stay 0%, and sometimes it disappears once swf loaded, sometimes not..frustrated, have u got any suggestions? cheers

What makes you so sure there is no problem with your code :confused: I am sure people would be willing to try and help but if you don't want to post samples of your stuff (because you think nothing is wrong with it) it will be difficult for anyone to help diagnose the problem.

Not saying that there is a problem with your code, I am just unsure how anyone could ever be positive that there isn't.
