locating hidden MovieClips!

hey guys,

i'm working on a movie done by somebody that worked here before me but i'm having trouble....

there's a background element that doesn't appear in the library anywhere but shows up on the @#$!@#$ stage!! i've tried the movie explorer - is there any other way to find a mystery element?? i'm using mx2004 - are there any new tools to locate stuff like that?

dear actionscripting community,

please don't post or even touch flash until you've removed your "stupidity helmet" in the morning. coffee is a good deterrent to the 'morning stupids'. i believe i'll have another cup :D
