Hi all,
I'm quite new to web design, and I have only just started using Flash properly.
I've been scouring this here interweb for a tutorial on building a streaming MP3 player for my bands website. Currently I have embedded some snippets of music actually within the play button in the movie displaying the available tracks. Obviously not an ideal solution, but is serving my porpoises for now.
Anyone got any ideas where I can find one? I think its the streaming thing that confuses me the most, I guess I could just do a movie clip that opens in a pop up window and embed the track into that, but that will mean that the whole track has to be downloaded before playback (doesn't it?) Surely streaming is a better way of doing it (or not!). Also I'd rather that the track can't be downloaded and saved, like if you were linking to an MP3 with an HTML hyperlink. Is that possible too?
Any assitance would be most graciously appreciated.
