Preloading Shared Audio

Does anyone have tips on preloading a shared audio swf?

My normal method is to put a preloader in the loaded swf (on its _level), then the _root calls the movie. However, when you have shared audio swf, the shared files export on the first frame, thereby making the preloader un-usable.
