Update

Boy do I feel dumb. I forgot to check the box in the component definition to include it in the components panel.

Original post
I am having trouble with my component not packaging correctly.

I've scanned the mxi file for errors but can't find it. I've also scanned the xml file but it's syntax is correct. When I go to the components panel the component doesn't show at all.

I've checked file names. The extention manager says it was installed correctly. What do I do next?

Update

I have found several errors in the component logic since this post. You may use and modify this file but please remember that it's work in progress.

well, I am using mx2004 so things may be a bit different, but I compiled an .mxp and the actions (methods/properties) showed up as well as pushbutton/scrollbar under DragMenu in the components panel.

I would, however, recomend doing restarts of flash and extension manager between everything (even after making the mxp and before installing, uninstalling, etc) It seems to cut down on buggy behaviour for me.

I haven't had a chance to check out the component itself yet though - hopefully later :)

Thanks,

Maybe I should reinstall the package manager and flash. Your welcome to use it. It does require a text file.
