Set flash stage to transparent

Hi all,

I am very new to flash, started reading the flash mx hands on training book. I need to know how to set the stage to transparent. When I create an animation that is on a transparent background so that the background will be a dynamic web page background, I can't seem to get it done.

Search the forum with 'wmode' and you should be able to see the previous threads... :)

I'm certain that it works only on IE. I've tried in NN and Opera, but it doesn't work.
The alternative solution to my problem was to carrefully crop a piece of the background image the exact size with the swf scene, and then include it into the swf. But, again this works only with static pages, whith a picture as background, I'm not sure what to do with a dynamic content.
