I am new to Flash MX and looked into it because I was interested in game design. I have no experience in game design or Flash except a few tutorials I took.
I would like to design a simple Super Mario type of game like the one on Original Nintendo. I can make my character move (left and right with the arrow keys) I cannot however make him jump and return to where he left or land on a platform above him.
I dont know how to make him respond to the platform. Is there a way I can set it so it acts like gravity? So he always falls to lowest place unless on a platform.
I know this is alot. Any imformation would be helpful. I really want to get into game design and this was recommended to me. Thanks alot. Links would help too. :confused:
