I am attempting to upload a new version of a .swf file embedded in a .html page on my server.

When I upload the new .swf and attempt to refresh the page, it still shows the old .swf

Does anyone know where Windows 2000 stores its .swf files?

I have cleared all temp internet files, cleared the history and even tried restarting the browser.
Nothing works. Where the hell do web pages dig up cached .swf files ? (for Windows 2000)

Thanks, seriously appreciated.

I'm running Windows 2000, too, and I just set my IE settings to "Check for newer versions of stored pages every visit" This works fine for me. However, as you've cleared your cache, I don't know that this is the problem.

just a thought, but are you connecting via a proxy server, this may be the source of your cached files?
