Anyone taken any "flash" classes? like courses to help prepare for the flash certification test? I'm looking into attending one and was wondering if there were any recommendations. Don't really want to spend $1,000 and be taught how the tool bar works... would like to get more familar with the AS end.

I have purchased a few books and have worked though them but would like to get a hefty boost in a shorter period of time. Reading code from a book takes me forever cause I end up reading every line like 10x. *visual learner*

Any suggestions?

I couldnt find if this had already been posted so if it has I would be greatful if you might direct me to it.

Thanks

...I don't know an answer to your question, sorry...

But why not just work through the tutorials-section (http://www.actionscript.org/tutorials.shtml) of this site?? Every single thing I've learned comes from this site...so that'd be my recommendation ;)

I took the MX2004 Advanced AS class. They go over tons of AS2 stuff, it's worth it.

I haven't taken them, no. So I can't rate them from experience... sorry about that.

But I came back to post because I found this book on Amazon today and I thought you might be interested:

Thanks man,

anyone used that book? Ive looked though a few of the certification study guides and quite a few had reviews that said it was way different than the material on the cert. test. That book in particular didnt have any reviews posted yet.

for only 9 bucks though Ill probably get it.
