Hello!
I'm making a portfolio CD ROM and my samples are swfs that will open in a browser using getURL.
One of the reasons for having a CD ROM is so people without the internet can look at my stuff, and to look at the swfs they need Flash Player and to get Flashplayer it seems they need the internet... When I go to the site it says I'm done loading it, either because I already have Flash player 7, or because it did load files, but didn't give me the option to save any files on my computer.

Does anyone have, or know where I can get a standalone Flash Player installer (6 or 7, they're both good) for both Mac and PC?

I would appreciate it a lot!
Thanks,
Jen:)

Have you tried exporting your fla to an exe [projector-file]??

Because I don't think you need the standaloneplayer to view the exe's [that's why they're bigger then the swf's ;)]

The main file will be an EXE (and a HQX) but I have about 15 samples that are all swfs, and the fastest way would be to leave them because:
1) GetURL will work
2) They're multiplatform
3) It saves me a lot of time (both converting and later burning the CDs which would be about 3 times as full)

I found a Flash updater on my computer.. I think Windows 2000 came with some sort of Flash player, so people without the internet with Windows 2000 or higher should be safe.

But thanks anyways, I appreciate it.:)
