hi everyone, i'm looking for some answers if anyone has any advice. i have a flash mx .exe created for a cd-rom, the .exe is only 3 pages of info and i want to link to an external quicktime (30 min)to run at 640x480, 15fps when the user clicks a button. the video itself is too large to import into the file. i realize this pushes the ability of fmx, but i am on a super tight timeline and would be interested in hearing any kind of solution...

thanks for any and all help

why is the vid too large to import?

you could use a getURL to link to an html file on the cd that has the qt embedded in it

damn! great idea! i would prefer at this moment not to do that, but that could be the lifesaver if need be... the video is 370megs, already compressed by sorenson, i had, in my mind, that it would be possibly to just "link" to an external qt file, i could automatically install qt to the users computer also... would another solution be to go through standard Flash MX and link to a QT from there???
more ideas please, the deadline nears...
