I don't know how to describe this phenomenon so I'll direct you to the site I'm designing:

http://www.westerbergdesign.com/shockdoc/test/

After the site loads, click on "STORE" and select the scrollPane area or one of the textInputs. You'll notice a green selection around the components that I have built.

I am loading the store as a separate swf file into level1 of my main movie. And if the swf is viewed alone, the green selection doesn't occur:

http://www.westerbergdesign.com/shockdoc/test/store.html

And even while I'm sitting here, I notice that the same effect is happening in this very text box that I'm typing in. So I assume Flash is somehow emulating this effect. So, what's going on here? Is it a remnant of the default Halo theme? Can I turn it off?

I appreciate your help.

Chris

I've got it. Should have searched the forums a little more.

scrollPane.drawfocus = "";
btnName.drawfocus = "";
etc.

Seems to work out okay.
