Hi all,

I'm wondering what are the best publications for learning Flash MX 2004 Pro. Specifically the component architecture. I'm working on a rather complex e-commerce application, and I need to learn more about components quickly. Any suggestions?

Goto this directory on your computer (replace the name Duke with the name of whomever flash is installed for)

C:\Documents and Settings\Duke\Local Settings\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash MX 2004\en\Configuration\HelpPanel\Help\UsingComponen ts

its all the HTML files that are loaded into the flash help system. Print em all out and make your own book :) personally i think this is the best way...most books cost a ton and dont even have half of what flash has put into their descriptions and comments and even give code examples and hints

I could do that, but why bother printing them out? I've already used the help extensively, believe me. But, I'm looking for something that explains things in laymen's terms. With a lot of tutorials and such. I'm a 'learn by doing' kinda guy.

If you find anything, let me know. I've been keeping my eye out as well but it seems hard to get any really solid info on the components. Especially skinning/customizing them...
