Hi. I just got done making a flash movie. It goes along with a 30 second music clip. Now I have it synched right when you view the swf by itself and when you view it on a web page in netscape. But, when you view it on a webpage in Iexplore the movie doesn't synch with the music (the movie finishes before the music)

Can anyone tell me why it does this?

Select the sound you want to match to the animation.
Open the sound panel.
Where it says "Sync", choose "Stream".

This chops the sound into little frame sized pieces. The audio information and graphic information are meshed together into one frame-sized package. This makes sure Flash plays an exact sound on an exact frame.

WHILE DOWNLOADING
Streaming sound loads just like Flash's regular streaming graphics. If the frame containing sound information hasn't loaded yet, Flash can't play it. This means your sound and graphics may hesitate as the SWF file is loaded.

WHILE PLAYING
If the graphics can't be displayed at the specified frame rate, Flash will start dropping visual information in order to keep up with the audio rate of play. This is what makes sure your graphics synchronize with the sound.

Hope this helps,

Much obliged, friend. That fixed my problem. When my music wasn't on stream it would finish before or after the movie would most of the time. When I put stream on the music got cut off in the end and this led me to look and realize there weren't enough frames in the movie to equal the length of the music so I extended the movie and now they finish together.

Thanks again.
