loading swf

Does anybody know why this would happen and what I could do to fix it?

I imported a swf file in frame1 of my movie as an object. I copied it to the other 10 frames. I have links to each of the frames. If I click on the link to frame1 first, the swf file is there and appears on the other frames also. But if I click on any other link besides frame1 first, the swf file doesn't show. Why is that?

You did put in keyframes instead of regular frames right?
