flow data into DataSet with ActionScript

howdy~

i used to gather data from somewhat source(like XML) to DataSet manually, ie i should bind them together by inspector panel, now i'm abit tired of these and want to complete this procedure all in ActionScript, i searched compenent manual but find no help, any help ???
