hi hi hi there, i am not that good at flash, i know enough to make a pop up menu and animate things =) tho i cant seem to figure out how to get my pop up menu to stay above its adjacent frames as it expands (adjacent frames, as in html frames on a web page), instead of being covered by them. i want it when it expands, for the expanding parts to have no flash movie background below them, so it is just them, and not them with a giant square of black around them =)

i have searched manually and also using your forum search option, i was unable to locate any relevant information, is this so simple that no one bothers to ask? heh

thanks to all who bother to read, any help you could give me would be appreciated.

Hi..
I had a similar problem with pop-up menus and html frames. but the difference was that i had created my pop-ups in fireworks not flash..my response from macromedia was that pop-up menus don't function across frames.but like i said my pop-ups were constructed in fireworks.

same deal in flash, you can't have content in one frame overlay another. that's an HTML limitation.
