( Ninjatune Desktop Competition )

There is a new competition being sponsored by Ninjatune Records (the label that brough you Coldcut, DJ Food, Kid Koala and Amon Tobin, to name a few) along with catchingcrickets.com and pushbuttonsolutions.net, to feature your desktop designs.

Strictly Kev (DJ Food) is the competition's judge. Not all entries need to be Ninjatune-related, depending on category. But if they are, they'll have the added bonus of potentially being featured in the Ninjatune website 'downloads' and you'll get all the credit. Acceptable desktop sizes are:

800 x 600
1024 x 768
1280 x 960
1600 x 1200

We've also provided lots of links to design resources, free fonts, photoshop brushes, and hopefully everything you'll need to design the most stunning desktop we've ever seen.

The deadline for the competition is 19 June 2004. If you have any questions, please email us at yeswhatisit@catchingcrickets.com. To submit your entry, please go to the submit page after May 30th and follow the instructions. Have fun and good luck!

Just an update - we've had some problems with the submission form so we're accepting entries by email (finally!). I've just updated the competition site. The deadline has also been extended to 10 July.
