Well, the title of this message says it all.
I have a 6 second seamless nature clip that is being sent to me in a 1600x1200 resolution in AVI format that will be used in a screensaver. I would prefer to import it into Flash MX 04... but I do know Flash always has the framerate problem when it comes to things like this.
It needs to run "real time" since this will be a real clip. Is it possible to do to where it would function properly on a mid-end system (say 700MHz) on up without the framerate dropping to an ungodly rate?
I'm going to only use like, two scripts on the entire thing - repeat and full screen... so scripting shouldn't slow it down any. This way no matter what resolution the user has it will be a full screen clip.
Thanks for the help.
P.S. This is my first post here. Hi everyone!
