How can I make Flash MX default to Type: Frame Label in the AS window as opposed to what it has now, which is Frame Number. I always use labels, and having it default to labels would save a bit of annoyance.

Howdy and Welcome... :)
Um... What do you mean by 'default to'???
You do not really have any control over that in Flash if I get you right... :(

You probably understand what I am asking. When I go to the Actions panel and do a gotoAndPlay, you get the three dropdowns... scene, type and frame. If there were a way to make type default to Frame Label as opposed to Frame Type, that would make my day.
Be nice if Flash was designed similarly to Dreamweaver, with many of the components customizable through XML.

Well... I guess it depends on... I am not well versed with the Dreamweaver, so I cannot really say it but as far as I know lots of stuff are actually XMLized somewhere in your directory structure in FMX and more in FMX 2004 and you can customize them if you know what you are doing... :) (No, I don't touch those...)

I did find the XML for the Actions box. Unfortunately, that particular part of the box seems to not be modifiable from there. Drat.
