Should I Get a Flash Intro?

Hey everyone,

I need some of your opinions. A friend of mine owns a e-business and asked me if he should get a "Flash Intro" for his site. What I belive though, is that this could slow the web page loading times and most WebSurfers are inpatient (leading to lower views). But then again, with the Flash, it would look more professional and you could place a link at the bottom of it saying "Skip Intro".

He already has connections on how to get the flash, but doesn't have the opinions.

I love Flash but lots of people use it poorly. If your friend can get a fast paced, professional looking, interactive intro going, which lasts maybe 10 seconds, streams (less than 5 seconds preloading time) and plays only the first time I visit the site I would be impressed by it and it would add tot he site. If it fails to meet any of thoes criteria I would be annoyed by it.
