I'm wondering if there are methods of animation that work better than others in Flash. I can use Penner's equations in mx 2004, setInterval, or onEnterFrame and they all appear to run the same to me, just a matter of messsing with FPS and whatnot, but as soon as I try them out on slower computers the animations get choppy and jump (this was with Penner's equations), instead of running smoothly. For the time being I don't have access to a "slow" computer to test the other ways out, and was wondering if anyone could fill me in on the best way to go about coding animation for the best all around results performance-wise.
Furthermore, are faster FPS going to be a factor in performance?
