I learned on actionscript.org.

Best t-shirt idea ev4r. we can sell them at convenience stores across the country to every soccer mom and grill-bound dad. We can even make bibs for the li'l tykes. The pixelwit edition can have a plague of cicadas consuming the text, even, and whenever the t-shirt gets within range of any strong EM field it can emit a piercing weed-wacker sound.

save me from work!

Strong EM... Em... Nice... :D

I just thought it would be really cool if my coworkers had to listen to a plague of cicadas every time I was in the office. sure, the shirt might get dirty, but the odor alone might be enough that they didn't want me in the office as much ; )

Dunno if I should be flattered or insulted.

Until I decide, I'll go through the rest of my day feeling like this:

:D  :D  :D  :D  :D  ...

Bipolarity... It's not just a disease, it's a state of mind.

Hm... The only bad thing about that would be that there is going to be no girl around you with that cicadas shirt... :p

::pixelwit:: Hey, I've got some bipolar equipment that I use with my camera, do you think it's sentient?

::cyan:: I've got a pair of earplugs somewhere... I'm sure my girlfriend could put them to good use : )

Hm... That's brilliant use of the ear plugs... :D

Nah, don't be so foolish. Lenses are just pieces of glass and the camera itself is just simple machinery. But the little midget that pulls all the "auto-focus" levers and pulleys is definitely sentient. :D

I would hardly 3 individuals responding a fever ; )

plus...that thread's serious, I was poking fun at the 'everything I learned' line of t-shirts since it seemed somehow appropriate here :D

Out of curiousity, why doesnt AS[org] have T-shirts? Or are we trying to get this organization a secret from those boys at macromedia?

I tried spearheading an effort to create and distribute as.org shirts last year. But, selfishness and a total lack of support dropped it dead.

They couldn't even agree on a design...

Hey...we're both 24 bluegel, we've got to pretend we're smart! ^_^

knowing what a cicada is has nothing to do with intelligence, mostly with whether or not you grew up in an areas that cicada's swarmed in :b

A couple months ago I was watching a golf tournament on CBS and I couldn't figure out why the sound from my television what so poor. I tinkered around with the settings for awhile until one of the commentators came on and said don't adjust your sets, the poor audio quality was attributed to cicadas.

Being an avid biker (H-D of course :D ) and a big opponent to helmet laws, I've gotten my share of knots on my head from those nasty things! :p Hit one of those at 70 MPH, it's like hitting a rock!
