Amazing line-drawing-effect

Hi,

I’ve seen an amazing line-drawing-effect on the following site:

It has been done in Director. Does anyone have any idea how to do this in flash?

Maybe that you can do something random generated using the drawing-api thingie but I think it will make the movie really heavy for your system while playing...

I agree, its too heavy for Flash. Color management would be a bit more difficult as well.

no source but I'm sure joca might share at least the theory. I've seen plenty of effects like this, but not many that run that smoothly for that long (at least in flash) ^_^

but u might want also to look in bit-101 competitions threads, has almost a similar open-source scripts
