text field + htmlText

hi
i've a textArea called myTextField
WHY WHY
when i put this :

myTextField.html = true;
myTextField.htmlText ="<A HREF=\"asfunction:MyFunc,Foo \">Click Me!</A>";


the textArea still empty

the text component doesn't need the .htmlText if u enabled it
just a normal .text
