Hi all,
My first "professional" site is up at www.flashlightdesign.com (http://www.flashlightdesign.com)
I wanted to use a mix of html, javascript, css, and flash to show a rounded approach. The flash work on the portfolio is pretty much done - just a few things still to do to pretty it up and make it more intuitive.
Any and all criticism gladly accepted.

You have a really good sense of design, but I'd like to see that more. Make your portfolio images larger (people expect bigger downloads here), let them load individually (not all at once), and showcase one (maybe a randome one each time) on the home page.
Also, I'd take the links out of Flash (you're not doing anything exciting with them anyway), and make them CSS.... that way you can avoid the link repetition at the bottom.

Thanks! Very valid comments. I'll tackle the suggestions this afternoon, and post a revised version this evening.

Ok,
I've re-done the portfolio section, and cut the file size down a bit. I'm interested to hear people's opinions on loading the whole movie first vs loading the clips as the user clicks. The whole file is about 450kb.
I will be changing the photos in the header shortly - they're basically just proof of concept at this point.
Once again, any and all comments greatly appreciated!
