Problem with masking

Hello guys,
I have a small problem with masking....

i have a circle in "red" color in layer one
I have a rectangle in "blue" in layer two
i wann to mask the circle with the rectangle in such a way that the circle appears in blue color(Mask object color)
How could i do this...
Please help me

Masking has nothing to do with the 'color'... If you want to change the color, make that circle a movieClip and change the property of it to make it look blue...
