DateField and its DateChooser

I am having a problem were the DateChooser which pops up while interacting with a DateField is being placed below every other component near it. Even it I put the datefield on its own layer above everything else the DateChooser is being displayed below everything.

Any Ideas?

Sounds like you have some issues with your depthManager. Care to upload a sample of the problem?

Damn I can't seem to get an example that I will be able to upload to the web, the application is coupled tightly to the data residing on our internal network. When I go to remove the datefields into a separate .fla it does not seem to have a problem? Strange....is there something that could of been changed in the DateField.as file? Is there an update for the component? I am not to familar with the DepthManager.... any help would be great!

do u guys know how to embed the text that is in the date chooser? i cant see it under a mask,,, and setstyle for fonts only works for what is chosen but not the actual chooser
