is there a way to start a program on the clients computer via flash?
lets say i wanna start C:\Windows\Paint.exe

is that possible? and how?

I believe this would use "fscommand();" but I couldn't tell you for certain, its been too long since I've used Flash. Try running a search on that, it should come up with some hits for what you're looking for.
