View Full Version : Distorting a JPEG?

Hey there,

I just wanted to know if ne1 knew a workaround to this.

I have a JPEG that I made thru Photoshop and imported into Flash (MX 2004 - if that makes any difference). Since I dont know much about Flash, I did not think it would be a problem. But apparently, you cannot distort a JPEG in flash :-(. I want to specifically distort it and not rescale it or anything. I tried breaking it apart but when I distort it, I get tiled images of my main image in the area.

So now I dont know what to do but I am hoping you do.

Much thanx!!

Thanx for your reply...RicoD

I wanted to stretch one side of the image to make a trapezoid....does that make sense?

I`ve never tried it, so don`t know if it`s possible. You could maybe transform it into vector graphics and then use free transform to stretch one side, but if you want to keep the jpeg photorealistic, it`s going to become incredibly heavy.
