How many people actually have the Flash 5 plug-in?

I´m about to start creating a cosmetics web-site and I´m wondering
is it wise to design it for the Flash 5 plug-in, as I´m not sure if many
of the target audience, (women 20- 45 y/o), would of upgraded
from Flash 4 to 5.

Is there any data that suggests that the Flash 5 plug-in is now
the most commonly used?

not really. MM say taht 96% of users have Flash 3 or higher installed. Consistently stats show that 85% or higher of home users use IE4+ though which would allow easy, one click auto install or upgrade to Flash 5. I think most of your target audeince would fit into that group too.
