A kind request: if you are using safari as a browser, would you be so kind to post the code beneeth into an empty html-document, open it in safari and paste the result on this thread?

<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>Which browser are you using?</TITLE>
</HEAD>

<BODY onload="document.write(navigator.appName+'<br>'+navigator.appVersion+'<br><br>'+navigator.userAgent);">

</BODY>
</HTML>

A second question: Does safari support the javascript for bookmarking and settings pages as home? If not, which are the shortcut-keys to bookmark a page?

Thanks shiploads

Hi Ruben,
Here is my result:
"Netscape
5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/125.4 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/125.9"

The shortcut to add a bookmark is command D.

Hope that helps!

One more question, chevre...how can you set a site as your startpage in safari?

For example: in Firefox you can set a site as your startpage by going to tools, then to options, clicking use current page and then OK.

:rolleyes: - Ruben
