Hi to all!
I'm about to buy a projector tool, but I can't decide which one.
Can anyone give me tipps, which is the better appliction?
Any advantages or disadvantages?
My main use will be file operations, maybe change of resolution and
database operations.
thx in advance

I have not tried mProjector, but I think Flash Studio Pro probably can handle whatever you want to do... and that one supports Mac as well... I'd say go download the trial from their website and play with it before you actually buy it... :)

I can't tell you which is better for you, but Flash Studio Pro v2 is looking like the strongest right now. Its development team is active, it seems to be very well organized, and with the Mac plug-in I believe it's the only major 3rd party projector publishing to boast cross-platform support.
I'm with Cyan though, as usual -- get your hands on it and play first : )

According to the mProjector website a lite version for the Macintosh will be ready soon, as well.

I think it took more than one year for Flash Studio Pro to come up with the actual 'product' that supports Mac after they said that they are working on it... :(

mProjector <does> look pretty nice upon further perusal. I'll have to play with it before I make any final decisions. It does appear to have some respected users, and skipping the whole fscommand thing isn't a bad idea at all ^_^

Yeah... The lazy boy is going to stay here for and wait for what petefs has to say about the mProjector... Just for the record... I ain't going against anything... Both application look good... :)

I hope you're not in a hurry, then, it's going to be at least a month before we make any decisions on a new projector tool ^_^

I work on a mac and it seems that there's a problem with loadmovie from a flash projector. Is there anyone who is familiar with flash cd roms and how to work around this. The mac projector works fine as long as the swfs are in the same folder.
Any info/help is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance

It sounds like the question has very little to do with the original question... Please create your own thread with more information... :)

Finally made a decision for Flash Studio Pro.
mProjector seems to be technologically more advanced,
but there are far more features in Flash Studio Pro v2.
And maybe the most important point: there is the very
active user forum at http://www.mdmforum.com.

I'm developing a complex ticker bar application with flash and have tested FSP2, mProjector2 and also Jugglor v2 in the last months. mProjector turned out to be the best for what I need.
I agree with SirHenry, mProjector is the more advanced program. And I'm really missing a user forum for it! But the email support from the makers (Screentime Media) is very good and fast.
BTW: Don't even think about Jugglor v2 :p
