next scene doesnt show up after preloader

Hi All,

I have been using the same preloader in "scene 1" which will go to the next scene after it has finished loading the whole .swf file. The code is pretty simple and it works fine until yesterday when i tried to use it to load a file which is abt 700k.
The preloader just disappear after loading and the next scene doesnt show up. I am sure there is nothing wrong with the code as the next scene just displays a large jgp pic and a couple of buttons. The buttons appear but the jpg picture doesnt show up.

I am not sure whether this this this a flash constraint or i am doing something wrong.

I compressed the .swf to 50% and everything shows up perfectly. So i guess this is a flashMX constraint? But the picture looks grainy, so i am wondering whether there is any way to get ard the problem without reducing the file size
