ActionScripting ???

Hi Forum

What sort of programming course would help me understand ActionScripting better ??? would c++ or visual basics be of any use ????

IMHO, programing languages are like the romantic languages(latin, frech, spanish, etc), they are all different, but they are very much alike(that is why if you learn one, the others are alot ezer to learn). So if you learn any prog. lang. it should help in AScipting, though i would prob say from the languages i have looked at that Basic (or Visual Basic) would help you the best.

well, theoretically, C++ would prolly be better coz it's Object Oriented like ActionScript. then again C++ is harder to learn than ActionScript. As is VB IMHO, so you might be going the wrong way :)

try JavaScript. I think the syntax and structure is pretty much alike.
