cant open file in mx 2004

Hello!

I`m trying to open a fla.file mx format in flash mx 2004 and all i getting is this warning "Unespected file format".
The fla.file is in flash mx which is older then the new version flash mx 2004.

what am i doing bad????

You mean your file's name is 'fla.file'? Then rename it to 'fla.fla'

The problem is that the file names is document.fla it ends with the termination .fla
In all programs i have used, i never had problems opening older files in new versions of their programs.
This never happened before. :(

This is really strange... The only thing that could happen is that file was corrupted somehow...

No the files are nor corrupted, i can open then in flash mx. :confused:
