Huge fla file

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help. I've created a number of flash files which include FLV video clips. Some of the clips are much longer and bigger in file size than others, but I have one Flash file who's video clip is very short and small in file size but the actual .fla file is huge (about 160mb) - much bigger than the ones with larger video clips in.

I've checked that there isn't anything else in the library which might be making the file bigger, so I can't work out why it is!

Any ideas of what else I can try??

Make a new Flash doc and then import the shared library of the 160mb .FLA file. See if it makes it 160mb too...

Thanks very much. Eventually I've copied each layer into a new file and its made a much smaller file. Still not exactly sure why it was so big in the first place but at least its ok now!

don't know if this was the case.

flash has a bug that if you save the fla and it's say 10mb because of a jpg or video file, and you delete that jpg or video file then save again the fla will still be 10mb. You have to save as to make it the new size without the deleted library item.
