Voice Over

I have a 5 scene project that has several voice overs in each scene. I am having timing problems. Everything seems fine until I test the movie or export or publish - Then I get pauses between the voice overs. I tried making sure I did not have any extra "dead" time in the audio file itself and that did not help. Any suggestions?

when are the pauses occuring? random times? when scenes change? what other things are loading when the pause happens?

The pauses are between the voice overs. I am sure that the way I put this together does not take advantage of the more advanced features. I just tried to line everything up on the timeline. I started using alternating layers for the voiceovers to make sure they did not leave a bit space. Attached is a screen capture of one of the place where there is a pause. It is probably not a tragic one but I would like to close it up a bit.

what could be happening is that sound 1 is loaded and plays but sound 2 is not fully loaded when the playhead gets to it's position. sound is a tricky deal. i would suggest putting the sound into all one clip.
