Hi
We've built a CD-Rom for a client which works perfectly on most computers, but fails when the computer uses a proxy server.
The CD calls xml and php scripts from a web server, and works great when you turn the proxy server off. Is there a nice and simple work-around to this? I read on the Macromedia site about loading the xml and scripts via a shim swf, but I'm not sure if this will solve my problem. I also heard about housing the project in a director application, which doesn't have the same problems with proxy server.
Has anyone been here before and can point me in the right direction? Much obliged if you can.
Cheers
