i have a problem with animating move clips...
i did create 4 new symbols (move clips) that behave as buttons
and i put them ob my main Scene.
i was trying to put them into motion - i put them in different places on 4 different key frames and tried doing Motion Tween, but it doesn't work....
what is the best way to animate your menu....
lets say you have 4 buttons (4 movie clips that behave as button) and you want them to move depending on which button you click...
please help.

Hi there,
Your post is a little confusing to me but I'll give it a try. You want to have 4 buttons which animate when it is rolled over.
Make a movie symbol, make your animation in that symbol then put that movie symbol in the roll over frame of the button symbol.
If that is not clear enough, let me know.:)
Hope that helps.
Peace.

kingarturo,
i'm still new to Flash and i need some help with the animated menu i'm trying to do:
i've created a new Symbol (type of Movie Clip) that represents a sigle button, it has the animation when you move mouse over and changes colors, etc.
now, what i'm trying to do is to put 4 of them one undernith (sp?) eachother and when i click one button i want it to move a bit to the right, and the rest of them shall remain still (or if any one was already moved - it shall go back)
u know what i'm trying to do? so, now i need to know how do i put them together and how do i make them move, i did try creating a brand new Move Clip with 4 buttons on it and tired placing them in different positions on different frames - but that didn't work)
please let me know if you need any more details,
thanks,
shizo.

ShIzO,
Do you have a fla I can look at. It sounds like you might need some actionscripting and the best thing to do is post this question in actionscripting. AS is not my fortay at the moment but I'll have a look at your fla.
Peace.
