I have read two tutorials on Flash remoting, both refer to using a local web server, that's ok, I have both Apache and IIS 5 set up for testing purposes.
I use a webhost with Php, MySql and IIS 5 setup, my question is (finally) how do I setup Flash Remoting using Php with them. Do I have to get them to install anything or can I set my web up so that I can install the Php remoting programs into my virtual web on their server without asking them to install beta software ie: AMFPHP Gateway . It states in Jesses tutorial "a compatible webhost" from this I assume the Gateway has to be installed by them or can it be setup some other way.
If anyone has any details on this subject I would be very grateful for the info.
Thank You
Frank
