Venetian Blind Effect - Newbie help!

Hi,

I quickly need to employ a venetian blind style transition between a series of pictures. I know I need to do something with duplicating movieclips to create the effect....

Could anyone point me in the right direciton, or provide some links to tutorials on this sort of thing. An example of the sort of thing I'm after is on the site http://www.leviton.com/dhc/DHCweb/#.
