I'm working on a presentation CD. The problem that I run into is that if the swf starts in fullscreen mode ( a "must" for a presentation CD), the external links won't work. I'm interrested in liking some e-mail addresses. In the "over" state, the cursor turns into a hand (as aspected) but the link isn't working (not as aspected). If i embed the swf into an html page, everything is ok. So: can anyone tell me, is there a way to open the e-mail client from a fullscreen swf?

It will never work if the user's computer's default email client is not set up correctly, which could be one reason why it is not working... There's gotta be whole lot more reason why it wasn't working...
I'd say use the third party projector tools such as Flash Studio Pro or SWF Studio to do the job... That'll make your life easier... :)

Sacha, there is no code. No, I'm not using the getURL function, because for that I would have to make a button (I guess). So, I have a 3 line text whioch ends in an email address. I've selected the email address from the entire text and then completed the Link field in the Property with: "mailto: email@address.com".

CyanBlue, because tha application works fine embedded in html, I guess the e-mail client is setup correctly, right?
And I read at least one more post of yours recommanding SWF Studio and Flash Studio Pro (this is different than Flash MX 2004 Proffessional right?). Are those plugins or standalone software. Are made by Macromedia?

If user A's computer has correct email client set up, he should be able to email no matter the Flash file is embedded into the webpage or in the projector...
But if user B's computer is not set up correctly, he won't be able to email automatically...

No, they are different EXE wrapper programs inidividually created by other people...
Try http://www.multidmedia.com for Flash Studio Pro and http://www.northcode.com for SWF Studio...
