help scrolling an xml/flash portfolio

I'm trying to scroll a flash/xml portfolio using the scrollpane component in flash mx 2004 I got the portfolio from another forum

I've tried to make it scroll using the code from these examples
on the forum:

this is beyond frustrating been working on this for 3 days
any help is quite welcome.

If you don't have time to look at the files can i get some help
with using the scrollpane component to scroll a swf that gets its
content dynamically, it has to scroll text and images from an xml
file.

gimme somthin on this please?
