for those that have or use blogs, this is similar to livesearch. I think its pretty cool, although, unless I'm searching for the top 1 or 2 suggestions, it probably won't save me too much time typing. Its nice to see google continually innovating, though.

Although it sounded like a great idea, I felt like being nursed at the age of 45...I know what I want to search for myself, don't need to be babyfed a list with what's been searched for alot by other people...

I love google, they keep creating new things and they don't bug you with a bunch of crap on their searches like msn or yahoo. MSN and Yahoo need to realize that they are mostly "search engines", they don't need to offer free spam blocking tools or fun games, they just need to search, that's why google's the best. I mean, there website can be created in less than 5 minutes. Just a bit of search box, a dash of links, and 1 picture, and there you have it, the ultimate website :D
That's why Google.com is my homepage, anybody else have google as there homepage??

I don't see how that is useful as surely you know what you want to type already?

Maybe if we had an AS.org Suggest feature you could have. ;)
I agree for the most part, though. I think that there is probably an occasional time it may come in handy but certainly not the norm.

Maybe it'd be better if there were a suggest-button that (when clicked) will get a list to display everything that might be what the user is trying to type....or the top 10 or something...

i think it great for narrowing down your search terms as you type as you see the results and can end up with a greater chance of finding exactly what you want. it just teaches you to adjust your search on the fly.
In another way... it's really bad for google. if people look at less search results pages, then less adverts shown, less pay per click revenue.

It's a good feature for bad spellers, but I don't really want to see it take the place of the current google ;)
