Here's a short little rpg we did for a class project in about a month. It needs a lot of work, but it will keep you busy for 15 to 20 minutes. Note that you really should spend time leveling up. It doesn't take long and you won't be able to beat the final boss without doing it.

There are two hidden things in the first level. Talk to people for hints throughout the game.

There are two ways to completely restore HP and MP, so be on the lookout.

z is action (used for nearly everything)
i is for inventory screen (shows your level/experience/etc)

Howdy.. the game.. well, it's ok to play, but i think the graphics need a lot of work. Make sure you keep everything on the same angle, on that first screen the guy looks like he's lying down. I'd also check for spelling mistakes, like "electrocute".

I couldn't keep playing it (I'm at work) but i'd love to see it again if you develop it more.
