Help with Data Grid component

Hi everyone, I am getting increasingly frusterated with the data grid...

I am trying to load some data into the data grid. The problem is it stays blank. I can tell it knows how many items are suppossed to be in it because I can highligh each line item, the problem is there is no text or headings.

Very strange, anyone have this problem/know how to fix it?

Maybe a repainting problem?

not sure without seeing some code or a example FLA.... you could always try in a NEW fla the one your working on could be corrupted..... it happens to often in Flash 2k4
